Parks have an excellent record
of job creation.
A recent study of
employment in
distribution warehouses by
Cranfield University School
of Management (Spring 2007)
calculates that one person
is employed for every 550
sq ft.
This suggests that
around 10,000 jobs were created
in
6 million sq ft of buildings
leased by ProLogis in 2006
alone.
ProLogis Park Sideway will
provide up to 900 new jobs
and contribute to the so-called
employment “ripple effect”,
creating hundreds more jobs in the
wider Stoke-on-Trent region.

employing 5,930 people demonstrates
the typical range
of jobs:
office workers (including management) 23%
